In a judgment of 7 April 2014 (StGH 2013/172), which was published on 25 June 2014, the State Court of the Principality of Liechtenstein found that it refers a question of interpretation of EEA law to the EFTA Court for a preliminary ruling, if the legal situation is unclear and the legal question at issue is relevant to the decision. Once these two conditions are fulfilled, a request to refer the case must be granted.
